The Derma Co Vitamin C Serum Review

The Derma Co Vitamin C Serum | Vitamin C Serum for oily skin | Serum for combination skin | serum for dry skin people |

Hello everyone,

Today I’m going to share with you my new favorite.

Recently I have been using a lot of serum. Last year the serum became so popular and was trending. It’s just so essential for the skin. The trend came from Korean skincare.

After having a kid, I was really worried about my skincare. As my pregnancy has shown lots of skin issues which include dullness, pigmentation.

So now I’m addicted to more like a skincare regime. When it comes to a skincare regime, its always better to choose perfect products for your skin.

I received this Vitamin C serum as a PR package from the brand. And it was a challenge to use it for at least 3 weeks.

Before that, I have used the mamaearth skin illuminate Vitamin C serum.

Undoubtedly, serums are a part of my skincare. So I opt for all the products from the derma co including the serum.

TheDerma Co Vitamin C Serum Claims:

It’s so important to read what does the brand claim.

As the brand claims that the derma co serum has advanced 3-O- Ethyl Ascorbic acid which is combined with ferulic acid and hyaluronic acid.

People who have dull complexion and uneven skin tone or texture can apply it. It also helps to reduce acne discoloration or pigmentation.

It contains vitamin c which helps to even and brighten the skin tone. Whereas hyaluronic acid helps to improve the skin texture by reducing blemish pores and acne pores on the skin. Ferulic acid has an antioxidant property that helps in the protection of the skin.

The brand has mentioned clearly in the package to apply it at night time, if you are applying it at day time, then make a shield of sunscreen to protect any skin damage.

This picture will help you to know more about what’s written on the package.

How do all these chemicals help?

I know lots of you may be thinking about it.

Let me tell you a little bit about the chemicals which are friendly chemicals for the skin.

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is found in vitamin C. It helps the skin brightening. Vitamin c helps in protecting the skin from UVB damage and also helps in collagen synthesis.

Hyaluronic Acid is good at providing hydration to the skin. As a result, it keeps the skin moisturized for a longer period of time making the skin feel more supple and hydrated. Overall it helps to improve the skin texture.

Price: Rs. 899

Texture:

When it comes to texture, all serums have a thin consistency and fine texture. As soon as you apply it on the skin and give a good massage, it penetrates into the skin. And gives a smooth texture to the skin, making you feel refreshed.

My Experience With The Derma Co Vitamin C Serum:

After using it for more than a month, I thought its the best time to share the experience.

My experience with this product was so amazing. I have been using this particular product twice daily at the time of the skincare routine. Due to lockdown, no one is going out. So there’s less chance of exposure to Sun…

Why I said this ??

Vitamin C is photosensitive at higher concentrations. It reacts to your skin on sun exposure and can cause redness(erythema) and burning sensation. If you are staying indoors then, you can apply the vitamin c serum otherwise avoid it during outdoor times.

Another key point, If you are applying it during the day time, then do apply a thick layer of sunscreen with SPF>30 to protect your skin from damage.

Coming back to my experience, the serum helped me reduce acne scars and even my skin tone. I started to see the effect after using it for two weeks.

TheDerma Co Vitamin C Serum

I didn’t see any new acne during the whole period of time. Basically, it heals the skin from deep inside.

Yes, it did not reduce my pores, but the visibility was reduced. My skin feels better and healthier.

You just have to take 3-4 drops on each side of your face and give a good massage for at least a minute. And tada, the product gets easily absorbed into the skin leaving no residue.

If you are applying moisturizer over it, then wait for at least 2-3 minutes and go for eye cream or a moisturizer.

I must say, this product did work on my skin and the results were quite satisfying.

Do I recommend The Derma Co Vitamin C Serum for oily skin girls:

Its a big yes.

Obviously, oily girls can go for this serum, its lightweight, and get easily absorbed.

So no need to worry about it.

Even boys can use this serum too.

In the world of plastic pollution, glass bottle shud be a pro and not a con. Just saying.
Also Vitamin C serum/water is mostly packed in glass bottles becz it might lose its potency in plastic bottles. Tinted glasses are even better (done worldwide)

Yes not quite travel friendly . But glass packaging is not a con .
