Mamaearth Happy Heads Shampoo Review
Hello everyone!
Winter is back and I can’t stop worrying about my frizzy hair and of course dandruff. As I do have curly hairs, choosing a shampoo is quite a tough challenge for me. I found this shampoo on the list of curly hair products and thought of giving it a try.
In the market, there are lots of shampoos available which contains SLS and paraben, Some people are not aware of. It’s really necessary to learn about SLS products.
What is SLS?
Sodium Laureth Sulfate is a detergent found in many personal care products like soaps, shampoos and even in tubes of toothpaste. It is an inexpensive foaming agent. SLES, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), ammonium lauryl sulfate (ALS), and sodium pareth sulfate are surfactants are used in many cosmetic products for their cleaning and emulsifying properties. They are harsh to the skin and even on the hair. It takes away the natural oil from our hair and skin, leaving it dry and rough.

Mamaearth Happy Heads Shampoo Review:
Availability: Mamaearth, Nykaa, Amazon
Price: Rs.349.00
Packing:
Mamaearth Happy heads Shampoo comes in a long cylindrical shape plastic bottle. It has a pump dispenser which can be locked after each use or during traveling. The packing is too cute to keep it on bathroom selves. The bright white color bottle and all the details on it look really unique from other brands of shampoos available in the market.
Texture and consistency:
The product comes in a gel-like texture and has a thick consistency. The shampoo is colorless. It’s really hard to pump the shampoo out because of its consistency. It does blend easily with water and even in hand. But it doesn’t foam much as other shampoos. As it has amla fruit powder which may inhibit foaming. Even though the product really works as a natural shampoo.
It’s really important to take at least 4-5 pumps to wash your hair. I don’t have long hairs but it takes that much amount of shampoo. Generally, ake the required amount of shampoo and dilute it in a mug of water. I think this really helps to wash my hair with the required amount of shampoo.
When you take the shampoo on your palm and wash, it may stick to only a particular place. But the diluted shampoo is easy to apply to the whole length of the hair and of course the full scalp.
I usually apply oil before going for a hair wash, so a large amount of the product is required in my case. It gets washed off easily, the pump also dispenses the right amount.

Fragrance:
Mamaearth Happy Heads Shampoo Review has a sweet fragrance(kind of lemony). The fragrance is not very strong and does not stay for a long time(at least 2hrs). People like me who are not big fans of shampoos that have a strong smell may find this one good.
Effectiveness:
I do have curly hairs and its really important to use SLS free product. This shampoo may not foam much but it cleans the scalp properly without making my hair dry. Thus, it controls frizz to some extent.
The most important fact about this shampoo is that “you can’t find any immediate result in the just 2-3 wash”. As it is an SLS free products, you may feel little rough after washing your hair. A conditioner is compulsory after washing your hair. It is better to use Mamaearth No More Tangles Conditioner which gives an effective result.
I have been using this shampoo for at least 2 months. I have seen a change in my hair structure which is good enough. It doesn’t make hair very dry and frizzy for at least 2-3 days. It does provide a good amount of bounce to my hair.
During winter, it’s perfect time to use Mamaearth Happy Heads Shampoo. Because it acts as an anti-dandruff shampoo. It has Vitamin E which helps to prevent dandruff. Amla fruit powder, horse chestnut extract helps to control hair fall. And bhringraj powder extract, olive leaf extract and the linoleic acid help in hair growth.
I’m in love with this shampoo. Mostly the ingredients in the shampoo are so good for hair and have no side effects. I am quite impressed by this brand.
